With a hydrogen-diesel dual fuel solution the performance curve of an engine can match that of a regular diesel engine. A dual fuel engine however is able to run on a mix of hydrogen and diesel or alterative compatible renewable fuels like HVO which can significantly lower CO2 emissions. Should the hydrogen supply run low uptime can be maintained and operations continue to run smoothly due to the configuration of the dual fuel engine. Depending on the application using hydrogen as a dual fuel solution can help reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80%. When sustainably produced using renewable energy, green hydrogen can be an efficient, low-emission, flexible energy source. These hydrogen power solutions can then be used within a wide variety of industries, including material handling, agriculture, forestry, construction, mining, special vehicles and gensets.
