Volvo Penta has become the majority shareholder of Norwegian marine battery and electric driveline supplier ZEM. Volvo Penta will support the growth of ZEM through its established marine commercial and marine leisure network. This experience of ZEM will help Volvo Penta accelerate its marine electro-mobility projects. Together Volvo Penta and ZEM will seek to expand their range and capabilities in the area of electro-mobility and further advancement by the Volvo Group as a global leader in zero emissions sustainability.
